Working as a Lead Motion Design Graphics Artist on Tron: Ares was both a professional milestone and a deeply personal full-circle moment. As a kid in the 1980s, seeing Tron for the first time left a lasting impression—the film’s groundbreaking visual effects sparked my imagination and played a significant role in my decision to pursue motion design and a career in film. It is an honor to contribute to a franchise that has been so influential in shaping my creative path. On Tron: Ares, our team worked under the creative leadership of GMUNK, whose work on Tron: Legacy—released shortly after I graduated college—further inspired my passion for cinematic user interface design. Collaborating with GMUNK and such a talented team was a humbling experience. Together, we brought to life a new generation of interface design, helping to evolve the visual language of the Tron universe through a truly collective effort.
